If I asked you what flavor Flamin' Hot was, what would you say? Sure, you know what it tastes like by now, but Flamin' Hot is a unique flavor all its own that's been sprinkled on everything from Cheetos to Doritos and now to popcorn...specifically Cheetos Popcorn.
With the release of Cheetos and Flamin' Hot Cheetos Popcorn getting the internet so pumped this week, we knew we had to give them a try for ourselves and thankfully they did not disappoint.
Let's tackle the OG Cheetos first. The first thing you'll notice is how fresh this popcorn is, which is super uncommon for a bagged popcorn. If you're a fan of cheddar cheese popcorn (like the kind you find in a huge tin), you'll definitely be a fan of this stuff. It tastes similar to that treat with a taste that is distinctly Cheetos.

Now to cover what you probably came for: Flamin' Hot Cheetos Popcorn. This popcorn was similarly fresh and extremely bright red in color. As one of our taste testers noted, the Flamin' Hot flavor seemed to be more spread out on the popcorn than it is on your typical Cheeto, so it was more balanced and a bit less intense.
But let me tell you, it was definitely spicy. It tasted just like the beloved Cheetos flavor but also had a bit more of a lime taste than the classic stuff does. Because people are so inclined to drizzle a bit of lime juice on their Cheetos, this was definitely not a bad thing.
This popcorn was so delicious that taste testers had to physically walk away to stop from eating the whole bag in on sitting. If you're a fan of Flamin' Hot Cheetos, you'll be a fan of this. But who's surprised about that?
